I’m moving.

Well hello there,

 

I am excited to share with y’all that at the end of the summer I will be heading out to Guatemala!! I have been feeling the Lord calling me there for some time but it just has not seemed like the right time… Well, now its time! I recently was in Guatemala leading a team, I kept feeling like this was the place that I needed to be. On my flight back to the states, I felt very clearly like now is the time. So I am sure you have a few questions for me, so here are a few frequently asked questions. I will write a longer blog soon but I wanted to give you some information now.

 

Q:What will you be doing?

A: There has recently been some vision casting with our base in Guatemala, The Lord has really clearly spoke over that base that we need to be caring for the orphans. My roll going to Guatemala will be to act as a mother figure in the lives of children that have been orphaned and to raise them up as sons and daughters as the King. They may be orphans now, but the Lord has so much more planned for each and every one of them. Jesus sees these children as more than orphans, He calls them by name because He loves them. I will also be helping adventure as a mobilization coordinator, this means that I will be organizing all adventures teams that come through Guatemala.

 

Q: When will you be leaving?

A: The goal is late July or the first part of August ( still working out the details)

 

Q: How can I get involved?

A: There are many ways to get involved!

 

1) Prayer, please be praying as I make preparations to move. I am so excited to go, there are a lot of little details to figure out before I head out.

2) Support, I can’t do this without you! I am looking to build a team of monthly supporter and you could be a part of that. Let me throw a few numbers out at you. (don’t freak out)

Before I launch this summer I need to raise $2,000 ( I already had some money in my account from my awesome monthly supporters. Thanks guys!). This will get me through my first 6 months.

I will need to raise an additional $6,000 for the next 6 months. So in total I need to raise $8,000 to be in Guatemala for the year.
